About this race

Over 700 athletes race together over a fast and flat 3,600 foot elevation course with snow-capped Mount Shasta in the background. You will see the entertainment and smell the food the first mile and hear the cheers from the thousands of walkers. Champion racing athletes from Northern California and Oregon in all categories will be here. Beautifully carved hardwood trophies are awarded to the winners three deep in each category.

This a USA Track & Field certified course (#CA19031RS).

note:

  • The course is open until 10:00 to complete the five miles. Medals will be given to all finishers.

  • In addition to entry into the Mount Shasta 4th of July Run all registered participants will receive a t-shirt and will automatically be entered into all prize drawings.
