The 4th of July Walk/Run is a fundraiser that furthers our goals of community enhancement and creating sustainable outdoor recreation opportunities. Mountain Runners has a long history of funding local youth sports groups and community enhancement projects, all of which are only made possible via proceeds from the Walk/Run event each year.

As a component of Siskiyou Outdoor Recreation Alliance, we've expanded our objectives to include advocating for sustainable outdoor recreation in the North State region of California. Through strategic partnerships, active programing, and engagement in policy and planning, we feel that we can move the needle and create a regional culture with sustainable outdoor recreation at its core.
